In 2002, citizens approved an amendment to the Florida Constitution that set limits on the number of students in core classes (math, language arts, science, etc.) in the state’s public schools. The size limits for each classroom are:
Continuous enrollment during the school year may cause us to take action to abide by the state mandate requirements. Please know there may come a time during the school year where we may have to add or move a teacher to a certain grade level which may result in your child being placed with a different teacher in order to meet these regulations.
We will be sure to exhaust all possible routes before displacing students. If this action cannot be avoided, you will be contacted immediately.
